AKSERC Strengthens Collaboration with NISO to Support Akwa Ibom State Electricity Market
The leadership of the Akwa Ibom State Electricity Regulatory Commission (AKSERC), led by its Chairman/CEO, Ms. Arit Uya, alongside the Vice Chairman, Dr. Kalu Ukoha, Commissioners Dr. Valerie Obot, Engr. Ubong Etukudoh, and Mr. Paul Okon, on the 1st of July paid a courtesy visit to the Nigerian Independent System Operator (NISO).

As part of its ongoing stakeholder engagement and preparations for the operationalisation of the Akwa Ibom State electricity market, the Akwa Ibom State Electricity Regulatory Commission (AKSERC) on 1 July 2026 paid a strategic working visit to the Management of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) at its Corporate Headquarters in Abuja.
