AKSERC Courtesy Visit to NDPHC

Courtesy call to Niger Delta Power Holding Com

The Akwa Ibom State Electricity Regulatory Commission (AKSERC) on the 31 August 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) at its headquarters in Abuja.

Led by the Chairman/CEO, Arit Uya, the AKSERC Board engaged the NDPHC management on opportunities for collaboration and partnership around NDPHC’s projects in Akwa Ibom State and their potential impact on the development of the Akwa Ibom State Electricity Market (AKSEM).

The engagement aligns with AKSEM’s broader objectives of developing a reliable, efficient, competitive and investment-friendly electricity market that supports economic growth, improves access to electricity, strengthens infrastructure, and creates opportunities for increased power generation, evacuation and supply within the State.

In her response, the MD/CEO of NDPHC, Engr. Jennifer Adighije, FNSE, FCIML, thanked the AKSERC team for the visit and reaffirmed NDPHC’s commitment to partnering with State Electricity Regulatory Commissions across the country. She highlighted NDPHC’s significant projects and footprint in the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry.

The NDPHC team also included the GM, Commercial, Prof. Stephen Ogaji.

The visit reinforces AKSERC’s commitment to building strategic partnerships that will accelerate the development of AKSEM and ensure that existing and planned electricity infrastructure translates into tangible benefits for homes, businesses and industries across Akwa Ibom State
